PPP TAUSCHGAME - Performance zu Ökonomien der Lust (PPP TRADE GAME- Performance on the Economies of Pleasure)
with Special Guest Liz Rosenfeld
Thursday, February 5th 2009, 8 pm

According to the philosopher Jean-Francois Lyotard every relation of exchange includes an exchange of pleasure. Such an exchange would make every economy a sexual one – and furthermore always involve contingency and a lack of control. In times of unleashed late capitalism, in which sex is just an object of trade among others, the dysfunctional Drag Queen Timi Mei Monigatti takes up the cudgels on behalf of the postpornographic political (PPP) “trade game”. Three candidates (all performed by Timi Mei Monigatti) will have the audience draw out of the boxes, turn in circles and pick slips of paper which carry the terminology of postpornographic theory – as for example fetish, capital, betrayal and sexwork. By these means the performance will develop into a contingent montage of diverse textual and cinematic fragments, micro-performances and mini-happenings.

The „PPP-Tauschgame“ departs from the mathematical theory of Gilles Deleuze (Sexes N-1), which gives room to imagine a contingent, singular infinity of different sexes. Furthermore it is influenced by the socialist utopia of Charles Fourier, that uses radical-democratic, performative games to resolve sexual politics.

Including textual fragments by Bini Adamczak, Katja Diefenbach, Beatriz Preciado, Laura Maria Agustin, Jean-Francois Lyotard and others, filmclips by Girlswholikeporno, Buck Angel, Annie Sprinkle, Jess Franco, Dusan Makavejev, Jean Genet and others.
